My 10 wk old baby is startled in his sleep easily...abnormal?

My 10 week old son started getting startled VERY easily while sleeping and 'Im concerned..he flails his arms and opens his eyes then immediately tries to go back to sleep. It doesn't seem like it is anything causing him to jump...the t.v. will be on low and no one will be talking or moving and he automatically gets startled almost every 2 minutes while trying to sleep. It almost seems like something is weird with his nervous system...Anyone else having this problem? He randomly started doing it just recently..but he doesn't do this at night when he sleeps in my bed. Feedback anyone?
