Need a tan but can't go to tanning bed.. Spray tan?

Ok so my parents won't let me go to a tanning bed cuz skin cancer runs in the family. I'm not like super pale but I'm very self conciense so.... I was wondering if tanning salons have like things that will evenly tan u with a spray or watevr cuz I don't wanna do it myself. Any tips on the whole situation? Thx :)
